Developed with Group A touring car racing firmly in mind, it featured the purpose-built RB26DETT twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine and sophisticated four-wheel-drive technology. The R32 GT-R became a dominant force in motorsport, famously winning every Japanese Touring Car Championship race it entered and achieving a remarkable run of 29 consecutive victories.
