Tamiya 1/35 Scale German 8ton Semi-Track Flak 37 Sd.Kfz.7/2 Model Kit HISTORY: As WWII progressed and German forces lost their air superiority amid fierce Allied raids in the sky, Germany looked to bolster ground-to-air defence with the development of self-propelled anti-aircraft guns based upon tanks and half-track vehicles. The 8ton half-track (Sd. Kfz. 7/2) was one of those weapons. The half-track chassis employed had a proven track record towing 88mm guns, but was now fitted with its own 3.7cm anti-aircraft cannon that could fire 160 rounds per minute.
