Scale Model Scenery Low Relief 1970's Terraced Shops OO Gauge A versatile, low relief OO gauge / 1/76 scale row of 1970's terraced shops & flats. An ideal backdrop for any layout set in the 1970's up to present day. Based on a real life protoype on the A6 as you head into Leicester, but typical of many examples all around the UK. The kit features weathered brown brick walls & flat felt roof for a realistically better finish along with a choice of signs. If you're considering adding lighting to the building, a complete set of interior wall, ceiling and floor wraps including wall paper, tiles & carpets have been included allowing you to detail the interior to your liking. Provision have been made by the designer for the quick and easy installation of surface mount LED's during the assembly. And due to the way the LEDs are mounted, the light will naturally diffuse when they're illuminated, giving a Realistically Better glow, without the need for LED brightness adjustment. (Note: LED's not included but we can point you in the right direction should you need them). The kit is supplied with laser-cut parts for ease of assembly with no additional painting or weathering required on the main components for a "Realistically Better" finish straight from the pack. Only the windows, doors & downspouts are supplied unpainted so you can choose your own colour scheme for those. The window & doors are supplied laser-cut from eco-friendly laserboard and are packed with detail including engraved true-to life joints, door handles etc. These will require painting with acrylic paints prior to assembly or colouring with suitable markers. There's also plenty of scope for customisation too... with care, you can also pose the shop doors open or closed.
