Designed to transport troops safely through potentially hostile environments, it carried a two-man crew together with a squad of up to ten soldiers. The Saracen became one of the most recognisable British armoured vehicles of the post-war period. Its combination of armour protection, six-wheel drive and versatility saw it deployed in numerous locations around the world. Several variants were developed during its service life, and the vehicle earned a reputation for reliability and effectiveness before eventually being replaced by more modern armoured personnel carriers.   Paints and glue are required to complete this model kit.
