Tecophilaea Cyanocrocus

This Tecophilaea Cyanocrocus, also known as the Chilean crocus, is particularly beautiful with lovely bright blue flowers and is certainly worth considering, but it is not an easy plant to grow and requires some extra attention. This plant is not entirely winter-hardy; it is best to plant them in a pot in fertile sandy soil so that you can easily bring them indoors during the winter, for example into a cool greenhouse or shed. If you still wish to plant them outdoors, that is of course possible, but please be sure to cover them with leaves during the winter.
