WWE No Mercy 2007 (DVD)

WWE No Mercy 2007 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on October 7, 2007, at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Featuring superstars from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands, the event made history by featuring three separate WWE Championship matches in a single night following an injury to the reigning champion. The Chaos Over the WWE Championship Coming into the event, John Cena was forced to surrender the WWE Championship after tearing his pectoral muscle. This sparked an unprecedented series of events: The Coronation and First Match: Chairman Vince McMahon kicked off the show by awarding the vacant title directly to Randy Orton. However, Triple H immediately interrupted and challenged Orton to a match on the spot. In the impromptu opening contest, Triple H pinned Orton to win the WWE Championship. The Scheduled Defense: Later in the night, Mr. McMahon forced Triple H to fulfill Orton's previously scheduled match against Umaga. Despite suffering rib damage, Triple H defeated Umaga to retain the title. The Last Man Standing Main Event: In the final match of the night, Orton invoked his automatic rematch clause in a brutal Last Man Standing match. Capitalising on Triple H's exhaustion and injuries, Randy Orton hit an RKO onto the announce table, stopping Triple H from beating the referee's 10-count and regaining the WWE Championship.
