Fighter (DVD)

Danish drama. Aicha (Semra Turan) is a second-generation Turkish immigrant whose conventionally-minded parents expect her to do well in her studies and go on to medical school like her older brother Ali (Nima Nabipour). But Aicha's real passion is kung fu, and rather than applying herself at school, she starts secretly training at a professional martial arts club where she meets and falls in love with Emil (Cyron Bjorn Melville). Aicha soon discovers, however, that the rules of life are not as straightforward as the rules of kung fu, and she is forced to make some difficult decisions about her identity and her future.
