On holiday in romantic Verona, Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) explores the city alone as her fiancé (Gael Garcia Bernal) spends his time working. Mesmerized by the wall of letters in Juliet Capulet s Courtyard, she soon befriends the secretaries of Juliet, who diligently answer them every day. When Sophie finds a decades-old, unanswered letter, she responds herself.
