The Spell (DVD)

Owen Carey Jones directs this British drama starring Rebecca Pitkin as Jenny, a troubled young woman who becomes demon possessed as a result of her ex-boyfriend, Rick (Pietro Herrera), getting involved in the occult - leading her into a world of psychological terror. Desperately seeking help from friends, doctors, psychiatrists and religious leaders, who all react to her story with scepticism or outright disbelief, she is eventually admitted to a mental institution, where she at last finds the emotional succour she craves.
