Superman II - 2-Disc Special Edition (DVD)

The story begins with a localized crisis when terrorists seize the Eiffel Tower in Paris, threatening to detonate a hydrogen bomb. Superman (Christopher Reeve) intercepts the device and hurls it deep into outer space. While Paris is saved, the massive nuclear shockwave shatters the Phantom Zone—an extra-dimensional prison floating in space. This accident unwittingly liberates three treasonous Kryptonian criminals sentenced to eternal exile by Jor-El: the ruthless military leader General Zod (Terence Stamp), the sadistic Ursa (Sarah Douglas), and the mute brute Non (Jack O'Halloran). Realizing the yellow sun grants them godlike powers identical to Superman's, the trio heads to Earth to conquer it.
