Designed primarily for reconnaissance, it was a small and mobile vehicle armed with two Vickers machine guns mounted in its turret. The Mk.VI saw extensive service with British forces during the early stages of WWII, including with the British Expeditionary Force in France and during the campaigns in the Western Desert. Although reliable and useful for reconnaissance, its light armour and machine-gun armament left it increasingly vulnerable against more powerful German and Italian weapons. Despite becoming outdated as the war progressed, the Vickers Light Tank Mk.VI remains an important example of British armoured vehicle development during the inter-war and early WWII period.   Paints and glue are required to complete this model kit.
