Also known as Butterfly Amaryllis due to its long protruding anthers and graceful, pointed flowers reminiscent of butterfly wings, this shorter amaryllis is a good, long-lasting variety which with the correct care, will give you years of pleasure.    This stunning variety of Hippeastrum is semi-evergreen and prefers a semi shaded place indoors where the sun can not scorch the leaves, as this can pertinently damage it.
